THE SLEEPING BEAUTY
by Jackie Mellor |

|
The Sleeping Beauty follows in the best tradition of British pantomime. There’s a beautiful princess, a handsome prince, and a very wicked fairy. Not to mention SleepyPete, the palace guard, who’s always nodding off, and his mother, Mrs Broom, who likes nothing better than to be the center of attention! “Bring your lungs and check your manners at the door for a raucous and engaging production of The Sleeping Beauty that no one will be able to sleep through.” “ ... the ensemble leaves no laugh unturned.” “When those wacky actors in The Sleeping Beauty start exhorting the audience to wake up sleeping cast members, hiss at the villains, tell them where the ghosts are lurking and sing along with Mrs. Broom, it’s useless to resist.” Nancy Churnin, The Dallas Morning News CAST |
