VINCENT RIVER NAMED BEST SHOW OF 2009

Theatre Britain's production of Vincent River by Philip Ridley was recently named 'Best Show Of 2009' by the Dallas Voice. "Prickly, intense and moving, this one-hour exercise in human connection, directed by Robin Armstrong, lingered like few shows do ... James Chandler and Sue Roberts-Birch’s pas de deux in Vincent River left me quaking." Arnold Wayne Jones

It was also among the top 20 productions of 2009 selected by Mark Lowry of TheaterJones.com. "Philip Ridley's two-hander about a woman and the man who may have had a part in the murder of her gay son found a quietly intense production by Theatre Britain, featuring first-rate performances by James Chandler and Sue Roberts-Birch."

You may remember that the show was also featured in the 2009 Dallas Fort Worth Critics' Forum Awards with Robin Armstrong being recognized for Direction and Sue Roberts-Birch for Best Actress.

We produced Vincent River at the Out Of The Loop Fringe Festival in March 2009. The show was so well received that we brought it back for a three week run in June at the KD Studio Theatre. Many thanks and congratulations to all who worked on this highly acclaimed production.
